The country location of the town makes it ideal for those that truly want a peaceful getaway! The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. We brought a pack and play from home for our one year old. We really liked that this cottage had a tub. Our cottage was beautiful and clean. We brought a baseball, kite and frisbees from home and enjoyed the lawn area. The mountain views are stunning. We were able to sight-see to other beautiful Colorado towns during the day. Late afternoon, the kids enjoyed splashing in the cool water creek. The owner, Tara, was very helpful with recommendations/ questions before our stay. We will be back!
Wonderful, scenic area with gorgeous views! The cottage was just perfect. It had everything I needed for my stay, was immaculate, quiet and the furnishings and decor were all top quality and beautiful. The host was very quick to reply to all of my correspondences and was very accommodating! 100% would recommend the Hillside cottages!

The cottage was clean, well maintained with all the things we needed for our stay. The view from the back of the building during sunrise was truly magnificent. The property had Wi-Fi, a nice shower/tub, and large family kitchen. Perfect start for a hiking trip up the mountains
We have stayed at Hillside cabins for at least 5 stays and each visit has been exceptional. The check-in / out process could not be easier, the cabins are clean and well furnished, and communication is prompt. We have even changed dates in the past with no issues. Every time we return we notice the owners continue to make improvements; they even have a wedding and reception area there now. The views are fantastic and the off road trails and hikes nearby are peaceful and offer views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains that cannot be seen any other way. We will definitely be returning!
